The things that would help the most would be: not getting any pets or giving them to friends, encasing her mattress and pillows in protectors, getting a good air purifier, and making sure she vacuums very often with a vacuum with HEPA filter. (She should empty canister every time she vacuums and take the trash out immediately.) I was getting infections frequently, but now just get one a year.
