Is Everglades National Park in Florida a dangerous place to go?

I want to go but I've been reading about the alligators, vultures, and snakes and since everything roams around freely, is it pretty safe to go? I don't have to worry about some animal coming at me? If you are familiar with the park or have visited before, please let me know! Thanks!
