Is there any chance of the my zebra finches to start feeding the zebra finch chick?

as 2 died i think because they not been fed so the last one ive been feeding with bird formula they are keeping the Chick worm but not feeding what should i do to make them feed i know my pair of budgies did the same so i kept feeding them then the parents started to feed them and now they are two weeks old and really are coming on so what should i do with this 1 day old little chick
