Guys, please advise? Is this guy I chat to interested in me?

We've just met recently and we have been chatting a bit, every couple of days or so. Last night, he was online and I wrote 'hey, how are you?'. After about 10 mins, he went onto 'busy' status and then 10 mins later to 'available' again. So I wrote 'hey, leave me a message when you get back'. Then I logged off, as I realised he must be busy. Today when I checked my IMs there was a message from him 'hey! lucky you on vacation, I have to work, I hope you write to me sometime'. Is he interested in me? We've had lots of really open lovely conversations.
