Hair style question.... and another one?

i have lite skin, my hair is like down to my top rib its also black, and i have dark black looking eyes, wood i look good if i bleached the bottom part of my hair and left the top part black? and also some girls @ my school got the sme thing and 1 girl on my sports team but ive wanted it scince 2007 n my mom is finnaly letting me do it. wat can i say so it doesnt seem like i copied them?? hlp!!!!
