Unemployment Question?

My dad worked for a lady for 10yrs doing housekeeping, lawnwork, handyman things etc. She does taxes and social security on his payroll. How do you know if he can get unemployment or not? She recently laid him off due to confrentations in the fact that she has added way to much work for one man to do and alot more than was in his original job title. She also promised 2 wks pd vacation a year and he hasnt gotton any of it in the 10yrs he's been with her and she would have him come in to do things over the weekends sometimes like grill for her partys and things and didnt pay him any over time or nothin. Any suggestions? Can he get unemployment. although im sure with her riches she will probally lie and she barely paid him crap for all the hard work hes done for her
