I am 14 and my mom sayd im too young to wear make up. do you think thats too young?

im in 8th grade and my mom is letting me wear it in 9th grade. And since this is my last year with some of those kids. i want them to at least see what i look lke with it on. cause some of them wont go to my high school and some will. but the ones that will, im not worrying about. but the ones that arent i want them to see me with make up on. you get what i mean?
