Ripped off? banfield petsmart in MD?
Hi I got a bichon a few days ago, and its nose was very dry so I brought her today to Petsmart and signed up for the basic puppy plan at Banfield. Today the doctor gave her 1) distemper parvo DAPP shot and 2) corona virus. the ppl there also said that the puppy's so young that they cannot give her any shots without giving her something called 'Diphenhydramine injection' Also I got a deworming med and a flee med. I did not ask for any of these but ppl there told me that these are a MUST. So, even with the plan I ended up paying 229 dollars today, ($139 for the plan start up fee, which I am suspicious about, $ 18 for the 'Diphenhydramine injection' thing, and rest for the medications that )Is that true? I am seeing that banfield over vacciante dogs and I dont want that happening to my puppy. and I feel like I could've saved a lot more money without this insurance. I was so pissed off and so were my parents. and there is a list of ten vaccines that says on the brochure that a puppy needs. I know that they said they are all NECESSARy but I really cant trust them.. I so regret but... which vaccinations should I not get and get? plz help....and am I getting ripped off??
