What inanimate object describes you best?

Big book. Most of the time shoved away in a dark corner, hearing everything people say, but never speaking (Pfft, I love to eavesdrop on people, and then I used tidbits of people's conversations for stories I'm writing XD), yet when you open me up I scream adventure and trouble and won't shut up (Well if its a book it shuts up when you finish it and I shut up when I've gots to do some more eavesdropping, but you know)....
