Why isn't volcanos ever mentioned for thier contribution to green house and atmospheric destruction?

They are mentioned in the relevant science literature. It just isn't discussed at length in public, because there's really nothing we can do to curb volcanic emissions, while anthropogenic pollution can be addressed.
